The Exclusivity of an Event
I work with busy people. So it's not very often you have an opportunity to spend some quality time with colleagues, in a space that is not only spectacular, but that allows you to relax, let your guard down, and let those creative juices flow.
I need this. We all need this. Off-sites used to mean taking your leadership team somewhere out of the office. Get people away from the interruptions of their surroundings to focus on planning, team building, goal setting. But this doesn't mean you have to go from the office to a hotel conference room. On the contrary. How does a rustic Hacienda for your next corporate event sound, complete with an inviting court yard, private restaurant and bar, and minutes from a pristine golf course on top of rolling hills?
The Hacienda is such an exclusive place, I can't even mention its name. A private hideaway in the California hills, that only those who know - can go. And the drive up to the top of the mountain to reach this wonderland gave us precious time as a group to not only soak up our natural surroundings, but also brainstorm, laugh out loud, and bond.
So why am I telling you this? Sometimes we need to think out of the box - to go above and beyond what the norm tells us, and experience something new. I always say that there are only a few things in this life that will surprise me anymore. This was a pleasant surprise.
I loved the Hacienda. If the walls could talk, we'd make a million. But for now, I'm willing to share the experience.
